A co-founder and partner in the Law Offices of Sheasby, Cho & Middleton, Matthew Sheasby spearheads the practice’s Family Law and Civil Litigation practice at the firm’s Century City and San Bernardino offices. A Certified Family Law Specialist, licensed by the California State Bar Board of Specialization, he also serves as Judge Pro Tem for the San Bernardino County court system.

With his reputation as an aggressive trial attorney and a history of successfully representing clients in high conflict, high asset custody and divorce cases, Mr. Sheasby is known for his ability to balance his clients’ needs and financial considerations with complex legal issues in the context of the litigation. His litigation expertise also prevails in the firm’s Civil Litigation division, representing a wide variety of consumers, businesses and their needs.

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Sheasby was a founding member and partner in the Law Office of Sheasby & Middleton, P.C. providing representation of clients in Family Law and Estate Planning. Founded in 2003 with offices in Century City and Irvine, the firm branched out to include a third office in San Bernardino County in 2004. All three offices continue to operate today.

Mr. Sheasby has practiced law since 1988, where he began his legal practice as an attorney at a boutique, West Los Angeles Family Law firm, known for its high asset celebrity divorce cases.

Mr. Sheasby was admitted to the California State Bar in 1998. He holds a Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

A member of the Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange County Bar Associations, he is a founding member of the Etiwanda Excellence in Education Foundation, a non profit corporation supporting local schools. He is a board member of the San Bernardino County Search and Rescue Team and serves on the Strategic Planning Board of Carden Arbor School in Upland, CA.
