Tabitha Huang is an associate attorney in the Law Offices of Sheasby, Cho & Middleton practicing family law, civil litigation and general practice law. Bilingual in Mandarin and English, she serves as Vice President of the San Bernardino Young Barristers Association and is a contributing member of the Chinese Inland Empire Association. 

Tabitha brings to the firm academic achievement and experience in working with public agencies for the under served. From 2000 – 2001, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the California foster system in Yolo County, California. In that role, she engaged in the legal procedures required for the Juvenile and Delinquency Courts leading to a judicial appointment to look out for a child’s interest in the legal and social system.

Over the next three years, Tabitha clerked for judges in Santa Clara Superior Court on issues of criminal domestic violence and in Family Unified District Court researching issues related to guardianships, probate, family and civil issues. Additionally, she served as a legal intern for the Family Law Self Help Center and Restraining Order Center, and as a law clerk for the Katherine & George Alexander Community Law Center Consumer Protection Clinic and the Immigration Law Clinic, all located in Santa Clara.

After earning her JD degree, she provided limited scope representation to low income clients at the Pro Bono Project working on domestic violence proceedings in Family Superior Court. Then began her work as an attorney for San Francisco’s Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach offering legal advice and social support to clients in the areas of family law, domestic violence, immigration, elder law and public benefits.

Ms. Huang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and the Arts from University of California, Davis and a JD degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of California, Family Law Division.
